The Empire State Building is joining in on the viralTaylor Swiftfun!
On Sunday, the singer, 33, watched NFL tight endTravis Kelceand his team, theKansas City Chiefs, face off against the Chicago Bears. Whilethe visit from the “Speak Now” singergarnered afew viral moments, and a lot of clamor, one photo, in particular, caught the attention of fans, brands — and now buildings.The online excitement began after a popular X account called @tswifterastourre-shared a snapon Sunday evening of the singer at the game sitting next to a plate of food. “Taylor Swift was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch!” the caption read.
And on Wednesday evening, even New York City’sEmpire State Buildingdecided to get in on the fun. The official account for the iconic 102-story building shared a photo that showed the upper floors of the landmark lit with white and red lights, with the caption “Ketchup and seemingly ranch.”
One Xuser, @veryharryhill, reposted the Empire State Building’s post and wrote “Whoever coined ‘seemingly ranch’ needs a Pulitzer TOMORROW.”
The initial Sunday post from @tswifterastour has led to a frenzy of online responses, including fromHidden Valley Ranchwho has since changed its name on X to “Seemingly Ranch.”
The official KFC X account commented, “Our Ranch Queen.” And Heinz developed a new product based on the wild internet moment. The company announced they were releasing 100 limited-edition bottles of a new “Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch” sauce.
Swift’s stadium appearance followed Kelce’spublic invitation, which he shared onThe Pat McAfee Showpodcast last week, for the singer to attend the game.
On Sunday, the “Red” singer joined Kelce’s mother,Donna Kelce, in the athlete’s suite, even wearing a red-and-white Chiefs jacket. And following the match,a source told PEOPLEthe pair are still in the “super, super early days” of getting to know one another.
“They’re having fun,” added the insider. “This was Taylor’s first time meeting his mom and dad, and everyone was enjoying themselves. She was super chill and low-key hanging out with his friends and family.”
The Chiefs won the game with a final score of 41-10.
