Kelly Ripais worried about one of her four-legged family members.

On Tuesday morning’sLive with Kelly and Mark, Ripa, 53, opened up about her senior dog Chewie, 17, telling her husband and co-host Mark Consuelos that she felt like she should be at home with her.

“You know, I don’t know if you noticed yesterday. Our dog Chewie — who is very, very old now — was really disoriented,” she said.

After revealing that Chewie’s behavior did concern him, Consuelos, 52, chalked it up to old age, telling Ripa, “But she’s 17 years old, so she was just having a day.”

According to Ripa, the family pet did not just have a “day” — she had “a really bad day.”

“Like, I’m still, I’m concerned,” the co-host said. “Like, I don’t want to be here. I feel like I need to get home.”

“She walked into a wall yesterday; she fell over,” she told Consuelos. “It’s just one of those things, you know, when your dog starts to get old. It’s torture. It’s really torture. Because she can’t tell you.”

Although, “she does tell you a lot with her eyes,” Ripa added. “She’s like, ‘Sigh. Can you believe this?’ I’m like, ‘I can’t!'”

“She’s good,” he said as Ripa admitted she couldn’t help but worry about her longtime companion.

“I’m just, I’m like, a little bit distracted this morning because my brain is back home,” she said, and Consuelos added, “With Chewie.”
