In anInstagram poston Tuesday, theAlmost Famousstar, 44, celebrated her mom’s 78th birthday with a sweet video filled with glimpses of memories they have made together.
The video contained photos of the two traveling, posing next to a campfire, decorating a Christmas tree and hitting the red carpet.
In one clip, Hawn was seen dancing on a boat as Hudson cheered her on, saying, “Look at my mom going for it.”
Hudson wrote in the caption that her mom is “a woman who is easy to celebrate.”
“Happiest Birthday to the most fun, beautiful and inspiring mother ✨ We love you big time Gogo 🎉🎂🥳 Join me in using one word to describe what Gogo means to you and shout out a big HBD 🎁 My word for you today@goldiehawnis 💫MAGNIFICENT💫,” her caption continued.

While speaking to PEOPLE in March 2022, Hudson sharedhow much Hawn has helped her personal growth.
“My mom has always been an inspiration to me and, in so many ways, the foundation for my values. There’s no doubt that I inherited her love for life and all of its experiences, big and small,” she said.
In a tribute written in honor of Mother’s Day, Hudson thanked her mom for lettingher and her siblingshave “freedom” and “be wild.”

“My Mama didn’t wait around to get the perfect pic. In fact she has few pics of all of us together because she let us run around and be in the moment. The ones she does are always a little silly, a little blurry, half smiles, half cries, chocolate faces and unbrushed hair,” she wrote onInstagram.
