Hawking has a new webcam coming out call the HNC700PT Net - Vision Remote - Motion CCD internet Camera ( maybe next time they could get every engineer ’s name in there , too ) . Although it has lots of nice features , like the ability to be remotely control to pan and tilt , one of the most interesting is that the HNC700PT is IP - addressable , intend you could post the tv camera anywhere on your electronic internet and it will manoeuver without a computer . No Son on pricing or accessibility quite yet , but with full feature - set , I ’d expect it to be pricy .

And eagle - eyed reader ‘ Slopey ’ adds this info about potential rebranding :

As per the late “ rebranding ” voodoo , the Hawking cyberspace camera you ’ve shown on Gizmodo looks dreadfully dreadfully exchangeable to the D - nexus Internet Camera DCS-5300W range ( check out the pictures page ) .
The bottom caparison looks near identical , just the Word and the camera housing is different , even down to the melodic line vent convention on the back of the camera .
I ’ve sold a few of the D - Link ones to clients , and they ’re very very good . There ’s even a software update which gives them controllable digital zoom onto the browser app user interface .

Just think I ’d let you jazz they look almost ( just ) similar – no idea if they are actual rebadged social unit from D - link or frailty versa or not .
