This is kind of an mad longshot , but Gale Ann Hurd , who bring forth The Terminator and Terminator 2 , told fan last weekend that it ’s at least potential she will team up with original manager James Cameron on a new Terminator pic .
According to Digital Spy , Hurd was at a screening of concern the Walking Dead ( one of the TV shows she currently produces ) , and enunciate she would definitely be up for reunite with Cameron on a raw movie :

( Until Terminator Genisys underperformed , there were plans to put out two more Terminator picture show in the next few years . ) At that point , Cameron will be capable to make a new Terminator picture himself or else just let the franchise die .
Cameron ( whosold the rights to Terminator to Hurd for $ 1back in the day ) has previously hint in interview that he ’d rather just , er , can the enfranchisement . Back in 2009 , hetold the Toronto Sunabout the aftermath of suffering through Terminator Salvation :
