David Hedison, an actor best known for starring inAnother World,Voyage to the Bottom of the SeaandLicense to Killhas died. He was 92.
The statement continued, “Our dad brought joy and humor wherever he went and did so with great style.”

Hedison began his acting career while studying theater at Brown University. He later attended The Neighborhood Playhouse and The Actors Studio.
He made his film debut in 1958’sSon of Robin Hoodand starred as the scientist André Delambre inThe Fly,which was released that same year.
Hedison’s film career continued with turns inVoyage to the Bottom of the Sea,and two James Bond films as CIA agent Feliz Leiter:To Live and Let DieandLicense to Kill.

He also starred as Spencer Harrison on the daytime seriesAnother Worldand as Arthur Hendricks inThe Young and the Restless.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made toThe Actor’s Fund.
