“We’ve talked about this happening since the day we met and over many tour bus sleepovers,” continued Grande. “It is the greatest joy to see the goodness you have poured into others, into your collaborators (I am so incredibly lucky to be one of them) over the years pouring right back into you. Happy does not begin to cover it. This is your motherf MOMENT!!!!!”

Monét has helped write some of Grande’s most popular songs, including “thank u, next,” “needy” and “Be Alright.” The two are such close friends that Monét was one of the six women that Grande got matching rings with in honor of her song “7 Rings.” In December, Monét told PEOPLE that Grande got her a new ring after she thought she had lost the original one.

“I have two of them, because at one point I had lost one, and I was so devastated because I’m sometimes a bit irresponsible. That was the old me, this is the new me, but Ariana felt so bad she got another one,” she told PEOPLE.

“Then I found the other one. So she’s like, ‘Just keep both,’ so I have two, and I wear them stacked,” the “On My Mama” singer continued.

Monét received a total of seven nominations at the 66th annual Grammy Awards — including one with her toddler daughter,Hazel. The two are up for best traditional R&B performance for the track “Hollywood,” which also featuresEarth, Wind & Fire. With the nomination,Hazel became the youngest Grammy nominee ever.
