Apple has reworked the look and plan of the camera and picture applications to make navigation smooth and unproblematic . It ’s a blatant shot at what Apple ’s competitors — ahem , Instagram — have been doing for sometime .
First up , is the Camera app , which has a stain young swipable interface that permit you go between telecasting , camera , pano photographic camera and an Instagram - ready “ straightforward camera ” .
Speaking , of Instagram , let ’s pass over over to the Photos app . There ’s a whole new UI , which includes some filters . A nice ghost — but it ’s not like we ’ve never insure filters before .
Beyond the filters , the young app is designed to apply your exposure metadata to organize your photos by “ moment ” by emplacement and time — something we ’ve seen with other services in the past .
Overall , though , the features are mostly Apple playing catch up here . What we ’re determine are interface improvements , but with something like photo , that ’s a big part of the experience .
