As theBachelorandBachelor in Paradisestar, 28, prepared to leave for a “girls trip” in Las Vegas on Friday, she assured her fans that although she was “going through a little bit of a rough patch,” she’s doing “fine.”
“It should be a really fun weekend,” she shared in a video posted on her Instagram Story at the time. “Not to be depressing, and I know I’ve talked about it too much, but I’m obviously going through a little bit of a rough patch right now.”
“I’ve tried to be open with you guys about what’s going on, but at the end of the day, I’m just going to try and focus on the good. I have so much to be thankful for,” the mother of two added. “I’m healthy, my kids are healthy, that’s really all that matters. And I’m just not going to let it affect me as much as it has been the last couple weeks.”
“I’m fine guys,” she wrote alongside the clip, adding a pair of appreciative emojis as she expressed her love for all the fans who wished her well.

As Stanton and her gal pals enjoyed the show, the reality star seemingly made a cryptic reference to her ex, posting a clip of the group rapping along to Cardi’s song “I Like It,” which features the line: “I like texts from my exes when they want a second chance.”

“I love them too and that’s why I’ll still be apart of there lives no matter what,” Jacobs, 33, wrote on an image of himself holding one of Stanton’s daughters, noting that he will remain in the lives of her children (from a previous relationship): Kinsley and Charlie. “Talked to them both on the phone last night and we’re taking them to Disneyland for Kinsley’s Bday.”
He also denied that their separation was a result of Stanton recently being hacked.
“Not at all. I told her to bring it public weeks ago that way it wouldn’t shock so many people when they received the pictures,” said Jacobs. “A not so sharp attorney told her otherwise.”
Stanton has not responded to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

The split comes six months after the couple made headlines for Stanton’s domestic violence arrest.
This past fall, Stanton faced a rough patch when she wasarrested on one count of battery domestic violenceafter an altercation with Jacobs in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was attending a friend’s bachelorette party
By December, her domestic violence case had been dismissed, the Clark County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to PEOPLE.
Opening up about the start of their relationship in February, she heaped on the praise, calling Jacobs the “sweetest, most gentle, honest, loyal and supportive guy.”
“One year since my first date with this guy We texted for a few months & I flaked probably 5 times before we finally met. I had an extra ticket to a Cirque de Soleil show and invited him after bailing last minute on Valentines Day. I was nervous and wasn’t expecting to like him so I didn’t tell him my friend & her fiancé were also coming. So we picked him up and when he got in the car surprise it was a double date (he didn’t act upset but told me later he was super bummed and thought it was really rude. So don’t recommend doing this!),”wroteStanton.
She continued: “The bottom line is, I’m an a– hole when it comes to dating but somehow I got lucky. He’s the sweetest, most gentle, honest, loyal and supportive guy I’ve ever met.”
