sixties flickThe Terroris directed by boron - tier auteurRoger Corman , and have the cheesy stylings of a youngJack Nicholson(in a enceinte French soldier outfit ) and an old Boris Karloff . Plus kissing in grave and floating rocks !
essentially , here ’s the write up . Jack Nicholson is fancy French soldier who washes up on an island and is pronto saved and snogged by a raging , giggly girl key Helene or maybe Ilsa . Either she ’s just an innocent maid , or she ’s been possessed by the emotional state of a bushed cleaning lady ( Ilse ) murdered by her husband , the local Baron . And the local Baron is either the Baron or Ilse / Helene ’s old fan . Plus there ’s an erstwhile witch who is either just an onetime witch or the mother of Ilse ’s quondam lover . Luckily Jack is there to calculate it all out by delivering a lot of hammy lineage and go around .
He want to deliver Helene , whom he thinks is n’t really Ilse . But Helene , who call up she really is Ilse , wants to ruin the Baron . Except of course the Baron just consider he ’s the Baron , and he ’s really . . . oh , whatever . Just enjoy this last scene , where everybody spring in the water in an old tomb and when the wall collapse the John Rock start floating on the water . Maybe the rocks just think they are rocks , and they are really styrofoam !
