I actually use Hyperlapse for timelapses quite a number . I have an older iPhone 5 in a Lifeproof that ’s basically made it an supererogatory GoPro , sans fish heart .
On Friday night a fellow gun and I were originally die to go into the Rocky Mountains , and set up on the Continental Divide . However , due to swarm cover and thunderstorms we stay closer to the city . The entire Denver metro area had an amazing lightning show as we were travel , and I was disappointed I did n’t entrance any of it on any medium I had with me . Some of the most beautiful work stoppage I ’ve ever realise .
We decided to take the air down to this spot under a span for the I-25 that expect quite the ramification strength grooming to get up and across the retaining rampart . Seriously , my friends and my quads years later are still tempestuous when you attempt to go down a set of steps . While headed there we were reminded the Rockies / Coors Field Fireworks show was about to start ; their show was not on the 4th due to the Rockies being out of town . We acquire there and were make out by other urban , and night explorers , one was decent enough to do up and say ‘ hi ’ as he is a fellow hired gun . He was having a more leisurely Colorado nighttime ( not take ) than us , and was much less distressed about the hundred foot fall if you lost your footing . We had enough sentence to set up equipment , recover , ascertain preferences , and chitchat with our new champion . This was inject with the aforementioned iPhone 5 , a tripod , and a vice hold . drive some stills on a NEX-7 , and some regular video on a iPhone 6 Plus . Thankfully there is a bit of cover that the passing showers did n’t dowse us . There was lighting about 120 ° to the north of the plain of panorama , but the best capture was of the manmade show at Coors Field . Good small escapade , cracking leg workout , some beautiful shoots / footage , a solid dark .
PS : Fun little extra narrative , as we were breaking down ready for our climb back down and across ( under ) the freeway ; another unidentified Denver dark explorer had setup , strange to us , a pyrotechnic mortar below , and just a few foundation forward . No warning , no checking ( I ’m sure they too were having a leisurely Colorado night ) and ‘ microphone boom ’ , our Black Maria skip a beat , the dB and echo was consuming being surrounded by concrete . Another ‘ bonanza ’ as the antenna does it ’s thing 30 some feet over our head . The explorer was startled by our gasp of shock . It was a good laugh later , but the night could have done without it .

Ticker Tape
I went down to the ticker tape parade of Friday to shoot some photos with my a7 , and with the Shooting Challenge in mind , shot a ready Hyperlapse as the trophy passed where I was . Used an iPhone 6 , 8x pep pill setting . Wished I could have catch more ticker tape in the air , but the sky was wash out as I pointed the speech sound northward at the last .

It was a swell day at BSR Cable Park . I have n’t been riding for a while , so I spent most of the clip struggling to hold on . But when I was drop , other rider made for bang-up hyperlapse content .

I have n’t used Hyperlapse too much since it ’s acquittance . When you announce this workweek ’s challenge , I determine to refamiliarize myself with the app by shoot our computed tomography , Mooshu . I caught her scavenge her paws and was able to edit it down so it looks very close to a unseamed eyelet . It came out well enough that I believe I ’d pass on it . Plus , cat are the rachis of the net ( and my Instagram accounting ) , so here you go .

My first contest entry ! ! I always lack the deadline but I opine I ’m okay for this one …
I was quite well-chosen to see the new Mazda MX-5 Miata in the flesh ! ( although this was about 6mi from Mazda ’s HQ in Irvine , CA ) I pulled into a Thai restaurant for lunch and saw this puppy park outside . I thought I could use it for the competition and shoot this hyperlapse as a walkaround .
